This course explores essential concepts in dental implant therapy with a focus on achieving long-term success through a biological and restorative approach with immediate implants in the esthetic zone. Participants will learn how to plan immediate cases by visualizing key aspects of the soft and hard tissues, enhancing precision in implant placement and restorative treatment. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the impact of implant positioning on peri-implant tissue health and how to manage both hard and soft tissues to ensure durable, functional, and esthetic outcomes.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Identify favorable socket anatomy for immediate implant placement
  • Explore the role of planning in visualizing soft- and hard-tissue features that dictate the long-term outcomes
  • Describe the biological principles guiding peri-implant tissue health and how implant positioning influences outcomes.
  • Learn strategies for managing peri-implant hard and soft tissues for long-term success.
  • Apply biological and restorative concepts to clinical practice, ensuring predictable implant restorations.
